The ABR Manual Technique
The original ABR exercises were developed as a highly safe and effective form of manual treatment. Intrinsic to this development is that is has been designed to be applied to severe individuals with cerebral palsy. Due to the high numbers of hours necessary for achieving structural improvements in patients with compressional weaknesses, the applications are also conceived with idea of the parent or the caregiver as therapist.

Looking for safe yet effective means of administering the technique led to the discovery and implementation of the pneumatic lens. The lens allows the therapy provider to address all parts of the body. In this way hundreds of individual exercises have been developed, seeking to address and improve each individual patient’s weakest areas.
